Christmas...in Black and White

Tradition of new pj's continues....

and was she ever ready to put those new pj's on!

The kids decided that Christmas morning needed to start at 5:30 am...so we obliged.

One of my most favorite traditions is having the kids draw a family name and shop for that person.  Sydney wanted Monster High dolls more than ever, so that is what Braden got for her!

Jaycee loved everything Frozen, so Morgan got her a doll and coloring book.

Morgan wanted a loom braclet maker SOOO bad!  Sydney made that happen.

One of our favorite Christmas stories is  called the Christmas Sweater.  It's about how the best gifts are home made and made with love.  I had been saving up old Levi's for years.  So I cut them up and added some red, blue and yellow flannel squares and made a comforter for Braden's bed.

Jon has been a good sport and uses whatever lunch box is available in the cupboard to take his work lunch in...it's usually a backyardigans lunch box.  He gets a lot of flack for that at work!  So JJ and I worked together on this one and found a really cool lunch box for our daddy!

It breathes like Darth Vader when you push on his mouth.  No more getting teased at work!
