One of our favorite day camp sites is Battleship Rock. It is always gorgeous up there and the kids can do a very short hike to the water fall and get wet. The only problem is that the water is super cold this time of year. So instead of a cool down, it's a freeze your keester off!
There was a plane show at our local little airport. The kids got a chance to walk around and see a lot of different planes and meet some of the pilots.
The even had the ABQ police helicopter out on display for the kids to get in and check out.
I got some new photography equipment so Morgan and her good friend were kind enough to be my helpers to try it out.
As a parent, you hope that your kids will surround themselves with good influences and good friends...I am very happy to have this young lady as Morgan's friend!
Jaycee has taken after her brother Braden and LOVES critters. I will often find her petting and loving on Braden's lizards he keeps in his pet bucket.

Then it rained one afternoon...which is considered a special occasion around here these days...The kids took advantage of playing in the rain. Ah, the simple joys in life!
