Sometimes A Mom Just Needs To Feel Loved

On this one rare occasion that Morgan left for school after I took the other kids, I got home from my walk to find this note on the kitchen counter. To be honest, I actually over looked it the first time because nobody ever leaves me notes! I took a double take and almost started to cry. It is in these little and sometimes rare moments that you know you are doing something right as a parent. It truly made my day that Morgan took a moment to let me know she cares. It really is about the little things in life that can bring us the most joy.

Thank you Morgan. I love you too. Mom.

Innocence of a child....

Driving along the freeway in Lehi there is a new little amusement park called Liberty Land. They have a very large imitation of Mount Rushmore with the heads of the Presidents of the U.S. Sydney's see's it and says,"Hey, there's the Godhead!"

While passing through Farmington, NM, we saw a car graveyard. The cars were all lined up in rows and rows and more rows. Morgan says, "Hey, are those cars stuck in rush hour traffic?"

While reading how the Nephites and Laminites are always fighting, Sydney says, "How do you fought?"
