Hot day in the kitchen

I don't know why I thought it would be a good idea to turn the stove on for hours and hours to do some canning today, but the end resluts were well worth it. I made one of the easiest jam recipes ever (which I have posted on my GF blog). This batch was made with fresh blueberries, raspberries and strawberry Jell-o. OH, SO, YUMMY!! I also made some salsa...I have yet to taste it, so I am holding off on sharing the recipe until I know how it tastes. I love enjoying the labors of a hard days work.

Innocence of a child....

Driving along the freeway in Lehi there is a new little amusement park called Liberty Land. They have a very large imitation of Mount Rushmore with the heads of the Presidents of the U.S. Sydney's see's it and says,"Hey, there's the Godhead!"

While passing through Farmington, NM, we saw a car graveyard. The cars were all lined up in rows and rows and more rows. Morgan says, "Hey, are those cars stuck in rush hour traffic?"

While reading how the Nephites and Laminites are always fighting, Sydney says, "How do you fought?"
