The kids were super excited to hit the road and head out to the east coast to see Nana, Papa and their cousins. Here they are all nestled in Morgan's bed. (This has really been the routine of the summer...sleep over every night!)
One of the many activities I had planned for the LONG drive was to have Bubbalicious bubble blowing contests...
This was probably the biggest hit...I made six notches on the front tire associated with a number, one for each member of the family. Each time we stopped somewhere, we would check the tire to see who's number was closest to the ground. That person would win a quarter!
Of course we played the license plate game. Proud to say that we found/saw 45 of the 50 states. 25 of which we found a semi trailer and a car from each state.
