Texas - Cadillac Ranch

Jon was a really good sport about letting us stop at every state line welcome sign for a picture. Our first state line was the Texas border. Holy hot there I might add! Shortly over the border is this cool little tourist attraction called Cadillac Ranch. A farmer has placed ten of them hood down in the ground. Over time, people have sprayed painted all over the cars. You are supposed to bring your own paint, but we did not. The kids were successful at finding 'empty' cans with a small amount of paint remaining int hem. Enough paint that they felt like they got to graffiti the car! It truly was a cool thing to see.

As you can see, over time, there has been A LOT of paint sprayed on these cars!

Innocence of a child....

Driving along the freeway in Lehi there is a new little amusement park called Liberty Land. They have a very large imitation of Mount Rushmore with the heads of the Presidents of the U.S. Sydney's see's it and says,"Hey, there's the Godhead!"

While passing through Farmington, NM, we saw a car graveyard. The cars were all lined up in rows and rows and more rows. Morgan says, "Hey, are those cars stuck in rush hour traffic?"

While reading how the Nephites and Laminites are always fighting, Sydney says, "How do you fought?"
